Hannah von Howlenberg

Hannah von Howlenberg is a beautiful, enthusiastic 16-month-old coated German Shepherd with a truly winning personality.  Our best guess is that Hannah shared a run at the shelter next to a Dalmatian or hound dog who must have taught her how to howl at firetrucks passing by, because that's just what she did on her way down to our adoption even once she got liberated from the shelter.  Our volunteer said she was such a natural at it that she must have had a good teacher!  In fact, Hannah is an all-around exceptional student and learns so quickly when you try to teach her new things.  She also already knew her "sit" and "down" commands, but we're pretty sure the Dalmatian had no part in teaching her those!  Hannah seems to have a pretty high prey drive so we'd have to see how she did with a "live" kitty test.  She walks great on a leash and even takes her treats nicely out of your hands.  This amazing girl has a good amount of energy so she's going to need some exercise to keep her content.  She would love it if she was taken on long, daily walks or even jogs!  If you're interested in meeting Hannah, please fill out an application today!
